Park & Recreation

Hello Everyone,

The communities involved with Spring Soccer have made the decision to cancel the Spring Soccer season due to our current circumstances and the unpredictable month coming up. I am so sorry and I just want everyone to know how thankful I am that you all signed up to participate in this sport. The decision to cancel the season was not taken lightly, but for the health and best interest of our kids and communities we feel as though this is the best course of action. I have been in contact with all of our surrounding communities and we are going to take this one sport season at a time and make sure that we are making the best decisions possible for the safety and health of our communities.
I did already give everyone's registration forms to the Village Clerk's office so that we can focus on refunding your money as soon as possible. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
You are all very much appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.
Thank you,

Stephanie Butler

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Due to the current circumstances that we are facing, I would like to take a moment to make sure I communicate with you regarding Park and Rec sports.
We are suspending all soccer practice and games until April 6th, 2020. If the situation does not improve by April 6th, I will again get in touch with the other communities and make sure we work out a plan for our soccer season. If for some reason something changes before that I will immediately let you know.
Baseball and softball registration is going to be extended as well. The new deadline will be March 30th, 2020. The league has agreed with extending the deadline we are making sure no one is being left out and with everything going on we do understand there are more pressing issues that need to be addressed at this time. As always you can mail in your forms or bring the forms to the Village Hall.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I am always available through email, text, or phone calls. Thank you and have a great day.

Thank you,

Stephanie Butler
