Ice Age Trail Celebration for Palmyra

Help celebrate Palmyra becoming a new Ice Age Trail Community.  Join the Palmyra community and the Ice Age Trail Alliance Walworth Jefferson County Chapter for a ceremonial ribbon cutting, with a casual hiker meet-up, family-friendly activities and a guided hike. Meet Monty, the Ice Age Trail mammoth mascot too!

Event Details:

• Sunday, May 18, 2025
• 1:00 – 4:00 pm Trail Community Celebration at the Horseriders Campground, Kettle Moraine State Forest
• 1:30 pm Designation Ceremony & Ribbon Cutting

This event is open to community members and the general public. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the Ice Age Trail and Ice Age Trail Alliance.
