Village Board President Tim Gorsegner and Public Safety Director / Interim Police Chief Paul Blount announced today that the Village Board and Public Safety Department community listening session regarding the proposed DHS 287(g) agreement, originally scheduled for Monday, October 27, at the Palmyra Community Center, has been postponed due to safety concerns.

The Village continues to believe that community input is essential regarding this matter. We sincerely appreciate those who have already shared their thoughts and perspectives and look forward to continued feedback from residents and community stakeholders.

A new date for the listening session will be announced once it is rescheduled.
